North Cape San Blas
The Forgotten Coast
This most northern stretch of Cape San Blas is a miles-long peninsula that arches into the Gulf of Mexico, it offers the rarest opportunity: to walk along a truly untouched and uninhabited stretch of Florida beach of powdery white sand. Explore the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, where you’ll discover massive and pin and clam shells along an expansive beach. The aquamarine waters of the Gulf of Mexico lie to the west, and the protected waters of St. Joseph Bay to the east. And there is little evidence of civilization. North Cape San Blas is known for its stunning sunsets, creating a backdrop like no other in the evenings.
